Basketball Recap: Wyandotte Comes Up Short

Wyandotte lost against Highland Park back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wyandotte Bulldogs were dealt an 88-20 loss at the hands of the Highland Park Scots. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 58-13.

Wyandotte dropped their record down to 0-4 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Highland Park, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Wyandotte will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Northeast at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025. After both having extra time off, Highland Park and Topeka will shake off the cobwebs and take on one another at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Highland Park knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Topeka likes a good challenge.
