Baseball Recap: Taconic Takes a Loss

Taconic lost to Pittsfield back in April and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Thunder came up short against the Generals, falling 10-4. The Thunder have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Taconic's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Pittsfield, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-2.

Coming up, Taconic is taking a road trip to challenge Minnechaug Regional at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pittsfield, they will take on Central at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Generals 1.5, the Golden Eagles 2.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.
