Soccer Recap: Oakton Falls to South County in First Game of Season

Oakton unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the South County Stallions by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. The Cougars have struggled against the Stallions recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meetings.

The win made it two in a row for South County and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oakton will challenge Woodson at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for South County, they will look to defend their home pitch on March 25th against Hayfield at 7:15 p.m.
