Sabino had already won ten in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.2 points) and they went ahead and made it 11 on Friday. They walked away with an 87-79 win over the ALA - West Foothills Guardians. Given the Sabercats' advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 72nd, while the Guardians are ranked 249th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Sabino pushed their record up to 20-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 85.0 points over those games. As for ALA - West Foothills, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-16 record this season.

Looking ahead, Sabino will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Snowflake at 7:00 p.m. Sabino knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 24 matches -- so hopefully Snowflake likes a good challenge. ALA - West Foothills does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
