Volleyball Recap: Louis E. Dieruff Comes Up Short

Louis E. Dieruff lost against Parkland back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Huskies came up short against the Trojans, falling 3-0.

While Louis E. Dieruff was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Parkland's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-13, 25-17.

Leading Parkland to victory were Josee Kim and Lexi Chyu. Kim had seven digs and three aces, while Chyu had four aces and two assists. Kim is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Louis E. Dieruff's defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Parkland, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Louis E. Dieruff will face off against Stroudsburg at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Parkland, they will head out to square off against East Stroudsburg North at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
