Baseball Recap: Kennedy Comes Up Short

Kennedy suffered their closest loss since April 23, 2024 on Thursday. They fell just short of the McFarland Cougars by a score of 6-4. The Thunderbirds were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cougars earlier this season, when they won 12-7.

Kennedy's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-9. As for McFarland, their victory ended a 12-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-5-1.

Kennedy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 16-4 loss against Shafter on the 8th. As for McFarland, they have also already played their next match, an 11-1 win against Del Oro on the 5th.
