Baseball Game Preview: Westfall Mustangs vs. Piketon Redstreaks

The Westfall Mustangs will face off against the Piketon Redstreaks at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Monday, Westfall didn't have quite enough to beat Paint Valley and fell 7-6.

Brenden Tuttle was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs. AJ Pluta was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Piketon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Southeastern, falling 9-1.

Piketon's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9-1. As for Westfall, their loss dropped their record down to 9-4.

Westfall skirted past Piketon 6-4 when the teams last played on April 11th. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Redstreaks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
