Buna has gone  a perfect 10-0 against Kirbyville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Tuesday. The Cougars will face off against the Wildcats at 5:30  p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Meanwhile,  it was a proper cat-fight when Kirbyville faced off against Kountze on Friday. The Wildcats took  a  3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions. The  defeat   continues a  trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Lions: they've now lost three in a row.
 Kirbyville came incredibly close to winning: the sets they lost were decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 28-26, 22-25, 25-22,  25-22.
 Kirbyville's loss dropped their record down to 18-14. As for Buna, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-17.
 Buna took their  victory against Kirbyville  in their previous meeting  back in September by a conclusive  3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the  squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
