Dunbar won the last time they faced Green Street Academy and things went their way on Monday too. The Dunbar Poets pulled ahead with a 1-0 photo finish over the Green Street Academy Chargers. The one-point effort marked the Poets' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Dunbar pushed their record up to 14-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 17.7 points over those games. As for Green Street Academy, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13.

Dunbar didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 1-0 victory against Coppin Academy on the 11th. As for Green Street Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Patterson on the 11th.
