Wheeler came tearing into Friday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Norwich RVT Warriors by a score of 7-2. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lions also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Wheeler pushed their record up to 13-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Norwich RVT, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-9.

Wheeler will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Warriors: the pair will be back at it again later today.
