Basketball Recap: St. Brendan Sabres vs. TERRA Environmental
In what's become a running theme this season, the St. Brendan Sabres gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They blew past TERRA Environmental 51-21 on the road. Winning is a bit easier when you make five more threes than your opponent, as St. Brendan did.
Leading St. Brendan to victory were Sofia Toro and Gianna Gras. Toro scored 12 points, while Gras scored 13 points. Gianna Vindigni was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
St. Brendan's victory bumped their record up to 13-11. As for TERRA Environmental, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season.
St. Brendan is on the road again on Monday and plays the Cougars at 5:00 p.m. on February 5th. Killian is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for TERRA Environmental, they will square off against the Bulls at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Northwestern presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the in Florida (the Bulls are ranked 151st, while the are ranked 378th).
