Soccer Recap: Appomattox County Comes Up Short

Appomattox County lost against Liberty Christian back in April of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Raiders came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 9-0. Appomattox County have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Appomattox County's loss dropped their record down to 1-3-1. As for Liberty Christian, the win keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Appomattox County will challenge Chatham at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Appomattox County will need to watch out since Chatham have now posted at least four goals every time they've taken the pitch this season. As for Liberty Christian, they will face off against Brookville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Liberty Christian will be up against Brookville's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.57 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
