Ocoee takes loss despite strong efforts from Justynn Thomas and Justin Smith

Recap: Ocoee Knights vs. Evans Trojans
The Ocoee Knights were the 62-60 winner over the Evans Trojans when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Ocoee fell just short of Evans by a score of 54-51.
Justin Smith and Justynn Thomas certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Smith scored 12 points along with nine rebounds, while Thomas scored 11 points. The match was Smith's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Andreas Smith was another key contributor, scoring six points along with nine rebounds.
Ocoee's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Evans, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-3.
Ocoee will challenge Timber Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Timber Creek comes in still looking for their first win of the season. Evans will be home for the holidays to greet Lake Brantley at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
