Volleyball Recap: Blue River Valley Falls to Muncie Burris in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Blue River Valley unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Muncie Burris Owls on Tuesday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-20, 25-11.

Muncie Burris was led to victory by Piper Lanning and Anna Murray. Lanning had six digs and four aces, while Murray had 16 assists. That's the most digs Lanning has posted since back in September of 2024.

Looking ahead, Blue River Valley is headed away from home for the first time to challenge Anderson Prep Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Muncie Burris, they will welcome Monroe Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
