Softball Recap: Glasgow Comes Up Short

If Glasgow was feeling good fresh off their 11-1 takedown of Metcalfe County on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Scotties took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Russellville Panthers on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Scotties of the 11-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2019.

Glasgow's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Russellville, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glasgow will welcome Barren County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Russellville, they will host Logan County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
