Basketball Recap: Daria Lennon Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Rochelle Zell Jewish

Rochelle Zell Jewish typically has all the answers at home, but on Sunday Ida Crown Jewish Academy proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 57-45 victory over the Rochelle Zell Jewish Tigers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 63-44 back in December of 2024.

Ida Crown Jewish Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Daria Lennon out in front who posted 23 points. With that strong performance, Lennon is now averaging an impressive 15.1 points per game. Another player making a difference was Talia Linzer, who had 14 points.

The victory made it two in a row for Ida Crown Jewish Academy and bumps their season record up to 11-5. As for Rochelle Zell Jewish, they moved to 14-4 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Ida Crown Jewish Academy will square off against Westmont at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Westmont will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Ida Crown Jewish Academy surely won't give up without a fight. Rochelle Zell Jewish does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
