The third road contest was the charm for Spanaway Lake, as they earned their first away win of the season. They managed a 17-13 victory over the Yelm Tornados on Friday. This was payback for the Sentinels, who suffered a 52-14 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The critical scores for Spanaway Lake came from Malik Burns and Darrell Sillers.

When it comes to explaining why Yelm lost, don't look at Sam Dejiacomo. Despite the final result, he rushed for 81 yards and two TDs.
