Basketball Recap: Bastrop Gets the Win

Bastrop won the last time they faced Navarro and things went their way on Friday too. The Bastrop Bears came out on top against the Navarro Vikings by a score of 59-48. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bears.

The win got Bastrop back to even at 8-8. As for Navarro, their defeat was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 7-8.

Bastrop and Liberty Hill will round out the year against one another at at 10:30 a.m. on Friday. Liberty Hill has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Navarro, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Cedar Creek at 3:00 p.m. on December 31st.
