Baseball Recap: St. Dominic Comes Up Short

St. Dominic lost against Waynflete back in May of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Saints fell just short of the Flyers by a score of 12-10.

Riley Daigle was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 5-for-5 with three RBI and one run. Another player making a difference was Curtis Wheeler, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

St. Dominic now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Waynflete, their record now sits at 3-1.

Coming up, St. Dominic will take on Old Orchard Beach at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Seagulls will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Saints surely won't give up without a fight. As for Waynflete, they will face off against Traip at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Flyers are facing the Rangers at the right time seeing as the Rangers are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
