Baseball Recap: Thunderbird Find Success

Thunderbird lost to Goldwater back in April of 2015, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. Thunderbird came out on top against Goldwater by a score of 6-1.

The team relied heavily on Andrew Cohill, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Hunter Donathan was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.

Thunderbird's win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Goldwater, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

Thunderbird will take on Deer Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Goldwater, they will face off against Thunderbird at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
