Volleyball Recap: Phoenix Academy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Phoenix Academy can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Clover Garden School Grizzlies on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Grizzlies this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-1 defeat on October 6th.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-14, 25-20.

Kylie Beeson paced Phoenix Academy's offense, picking up six kills. Beeson got some help from Destiny Kinsey and her six assists. Beeson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Phoenix Academy's loss dropped their record down to 8-17. As for Clover Garden School, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season.

Phoenix Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Clover Garden School, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against River Mill on the 23rd.
