Soccer Recap: Fossil Ridge Comes Up Short

Fossil Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Azle Hornets. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by just one goal.

Fossil Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Azle, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.

Fossil Ridge will head out to square off against Brewer at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Azle, they will host Saginaw at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Azle's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
