Baseball Recap: South Brunswick Comes Up Short

South Brunswick was the 1-0 winner over North Davidson when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Cougars fell 8-3 to the Black Knights on Tuesday. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

South Brunswick's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for North Davidson, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-11 record this season.

South Brunswick will be taking part in a tournament against Ledford at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for North Davidson, they will head out on the road to face off against Topsail at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The last six games the Pirates have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
