Volleyball Recap: LaVille Lancers vs. Bremen Lions
LaVille was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bremen Lions. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lancers of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September.
While LaVille had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-18, 16-25, 25-18.
LaVille's loss dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Bremen, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-13.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. LaVille will challenge Culver Community at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Culver Community is coming into the game with five straight wins at home, so LaVille will have to stop a squad with plenty of momentum. As for Bremen, they will head out to take on Jimtown at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
