Football Recap: Imperial Tigers vs. Tri-City Christian Eagles

With a playoff game on the line, Imperial rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Tri-City Christian Eagles by a score of 19-7.

Imperial found their leader in sophomore Mirella Barron, who threw for 341 yards and three touchdowns. Barron also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making three total tackles and defending a pass. Addison Clark was another key player, picking up 95 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Imperial didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Hannah Johnson and Clark.

Imperial has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.
