Basketball Game Preview: University Trojans vs. South Oak Cliff Bears + How To Watch

The University Trojans are taking a road trip to take on the South Oak Cliff Bears at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. University has now lost ten straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since November 14.

University saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 42-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of Mineral Wells.

While South Oak Cliff didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They put the hurt on Denton with a sharp 44-20 victory on Friday. The Bears have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 24 points or more this season.

University's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for South Oak Cliff, their win bumped their record up to 8-3.

University didn't have too much breathing room in their game against South Oak Cliff in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, but they still walked away with a 45-40 victory. Will the Trojans repeat their success, or do the Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
