Basketball Recap: Aiden Salinas Key Part of a Team Effort in Pirates Win

There's no place like home for London, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They snuck past the Carroll Tigers with a 53-48 win on Tuesday. The Pirates have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

London got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Aiden Salinas out in front who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine boards. Those nine rebounds gave Salinas a new career-high. Ac Carpentier was another key player, putting up 11 points and seven rebounds.

London is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. As for Carroll, they moved to 12-10 with that defeat, which also ended their eight-game winning streak.

London didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 60-49 win against Mathis on the 20th. As for Carroll, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 103-64 loss against Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial on the 20th.
