Basketball Game Preview: Lebanon Pioneers vs. Richlands Blue Tornado

The Lebanon Pioneers just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Richlands Blue Tornado at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Thursday, Lebanon came up short against Johnson County and fell 47-34.

Meanwhile, Richlands lost 55-29 to Marion on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Blue Tornado have suffered against the Scarlet Hurricanes since February 8, 2022.

Richlands has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for Lebanon, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-14.

Everything went Lebanon's way against Richlands in their previous meeting on January 14th, as Lebanon made off with a 55-34 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lebanon since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
