Soccer Game Preview: Northeast vs. West Creek

An exciting East v. West battle is about to be fought. The Northeast Eagles will take on the West Creek Coyote at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Northeast's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Last Tuesday, Northeast came up short against Clarksville and fell 3-1.

The Eagles' goal came courtesy of Joao Guilherme Castelo Branco, who's now up to 19 this season.

Meanwhile, West Creek's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of Dickson County by a score of 2-1.

West Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3-1. As for Northeast, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.

Northeast couldn't quite get it done against West Creek in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
