Basketball Game Preview: Rabun Gap-Nacoochee Eagles vs. Charlotte Christian Knights

Rabun Gap-Nacoochee and Charlotte Christian are an even 4-4 against one another since December of 2014, but not for long. The Rabun Gap-Nacoochee Eagles will head out to challenge the Charlotte Christian Knights at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Rabun Gap-Nacoochee knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Charlotte Christian likes a good challenge.

Last Friday, Rabun Gap-Nacoochee lost to East Hall on the road by a 70-55 margin. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 226th, while the Vikings are ranked 31st).

Meanwhile, Charlotte Christian suffered their biggest loss since February 9th on Saturday. They came up short against Chapelgate Christian Academy, falling 77-53. The game marked the Knights' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Rabun Gap-Nacoochee's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Charlotte Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.
