Notre Dame Prep piles up the points against Chaparral

The Notre Dame Prep Saints can now show off 16 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They blew past Chaparral 65-37 at home. Winning may never get old, but Notre Dame Prep sure is getting used to it with their tenth in a row.

Notre Dame Prep's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ava Pautz, who almost dropped a double-double on 21 points and nine rebounds. Pautz hasn't dropped below 20 points for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Ayla Keefe, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds.

Despite the loss, Chaparral still got an impressive performance from Aviva Schnitzer, who scored 17 points. That was a full 45.9% of Chaparral's points, marking the fifth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Hailey Donarski was another key contributor, scoring nine points.

Notre Dame Prep's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.3 points per game. As for Chaparral, their loss dropped their record down to 3-15.

Notre Dame Prep will head out on the road to challenge Horizon at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Notre Dame Prep knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past ten games -- so hopefully Horizon likes a good challenge. As for Chaparral, they will be playing at home against Copper Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Arizona (Chaparral is ranked 176th, while Copper Canyon is ranked 183rd).
