Football Recap: Branham Bruins vs. Lincoln Lions
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Branham can now relate to. They took a blow against the Lincoln Lions on Saturday, falling 49-21. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 35-25 back in October.

Branham's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Andrew Ho, who threw for 261 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also rushed for 30 yards. A healthy portion of Ho's aerial production (101 yards to be exact) went to Brayden Hodges.
Branham's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Lincoln, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-3.
Branham does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lincoln, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 28-20 victory against Gridley on the 5th.
