Game recap: Hebron High School Football Team tops Abilene

MaxPreps ABILENE High School Football.

ABILENE, Texas - Hebron (Carrollton, Texas) jumped out to an early lead against Abilene (Texas) and never looked back on the way to a 37-7 victory on Saturday.

In the first quarter, the Hawks put up 13 points. Hebron scored on a touchdown run by Jamal Adams and a punt return touchdown by Cedric Dale.

After taking the lead on a Adams touchdown run in the first quarter, HHS led 28-7 at the half.

The Carrollton school grew its lead to 27 points entering the fourth quarter. The Hawks scored once in the quarter on a Carson Proffitt touchdown pass to Adams.



Abilene's lone touchdown came on a 22-yard pass from Derek Scott to Jay Robinson in the first quarter.

Abilene (0-1) goes up against Duncanville in a non-conference game matchup next week, while Hebron (1-0) locks horns with Mansfield Timberview also in a non-conference game.
