Volleyball Recap: Beaumont Finds Home Court Redemption Against Chaparral

There's no place like home for Beaumont, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They came out on top against the Chaparral Pumas by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. For the Cougars, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 win the Pumas walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2023.

The final score came out to 25-14, 24-26, 25-23, 25-14.

Jacob Chase paced Beaumont's offense, picking up 15 kills. Chase got some help from Joseph Gomez and his 35 assists. Gomez was also solid from the service line: he led the team with five aces.

Beaumont's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Chaparral, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season.

Beaumont is taking a road trip to take on Murrieta Mesa at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chaparral, they will be playing at home against Corona at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
