Basketball Recap: Seven Lakes Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Dulce Franco and Madison Carlton

If Seven Lakes was riding high fresh off their 73-41 takedown of Paetow last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Seven Lakes Spartans fell to the Tompkins Falcons 57-52. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 82-56 back in December of 2024.

Despite the defeat, Seven Lakes had strong showings from Madison Carlton, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds, and Dulce Franco, who posted 12 points and four steals. What's more, Carlton also racked up five blocks, the most she's had since back in January of 2024. Willtrace Ngoh was another key player, putting up eight points.
