Beibhinn Kilgore was cooking despite her team's loss, firing off two home runs while going 2-for-4. Those home runs marked the first that she has launched this season. Kara Goetz was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Ridgeline, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. Everything went their way against Ferris on Tuesday as they made off with a 12-5 win. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won five matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.
Persais Triplett made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. Triplett was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
In other batting news, Lilley Triplett was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four runs, and three RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Quincy Coder, who went 3-for-5 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
Lewis & Clark's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Ridgeline, their victory bumped their record up to 8-5.
