Hunter lost to Hillcrest back in March, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Wolverines who were credited with the victory. The Hunter Wolverines got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to the Hillcrest Huskies' three. Hunter's winning goal came courtesy of Kallin Banza.

Hunter is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those six matches. As for Hillcrest, the defeat snapped their winning streak at eight matches and leaves them with a 8-4 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hunter will take on Cyprus at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cyprus' last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Hillcrest, they will square off against Taylorsville at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
