Softball Recap: Glendora Now 7-2 over Last Nine Games

Glendora never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 13-0 margin over the Temple City Rams. The Tartans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by six runs or more this season.

Morgan Gonzalez was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing four bases while going 3-for-3. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kaylie Winovitch, who scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Glendora has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.6 runs over those games. As for Temple City, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-6.

Coming up, Glendora will square off against Bonita at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Temple City, they will face off against San Marino at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The Rams are facing the Titans at the right time seeing as the Titans are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
