Baseball Recap: Chazy Eagles vs. Indian Lake Central/Long Lake Central Orange
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Crown Point, Chazy was happy to have turned things around on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Indian Lake Central/Long Lake Central Orange a 10-0 shutout. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Chazy also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2023.
Chazy got a massive performance out of Elijah Valentin, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Ryan Demers was another key contributor, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
Chazy made their fans wait, but they earned their first win of the season to make their record 1-2.
Coincidentally, Chazy and Indian Lake Central/Long Lake Central will both be playing Lake Placid the next time they take the field. Chazy will head out to face Lake Placid at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while Indian Lake Central/Long Lake Central will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
