The Ripon Indians will square off against the Ripon Christian Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Ripon comes in on four and Ripon Christian on six.
Ripon is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They really took it to Orestimba for the full four quarters, racking up an 85-49 win. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Indians just coasted through the last quarter.

Marcus Madoski was his usual excellent self, going 11 for 16 en route to 25 points along with seven boards and five steals. His evening made it 18 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Logan Lefebvre was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 15 points and nine rebounds.
Ripon was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in February of 2024.
Meanwhile, you can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Ripon Christian's strategy against River Islands on Wednesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Ripon Christian blew River Islands out of the water with a 70-39 final score. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 25 points or more this season.
Ripon better keep an eye on Jake Vander Veen. He was instrumental in Ripon Christian's win, putting up 17 points. Vander Veen has been hot for a while, having posted 17 or more points the last ten times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Amos Cady, who posted 13 points.
Ripon Christian pushed their record up to 13-4 with the victory, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.4 points per game. As for Ripon, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a massive bump to their 10-8 record this season.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as Ripon and Ripon Christian are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Ripon hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 59.2 points per game. However, it's not like Ripon Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 63.1 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
Ripon came up short against Ripon Christian in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, falling 54-42. Can Ripon avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
