Baseball Game Preview: McAlester Buffaloes vs. Pryor Tigers

For the second straight game, McAlester will face off against Pryor. The Buffaloes will face off against the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Pryor hit McAlester with a five-run fourth inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Buffaloes took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The Buffaloes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

For Pryor's part, Jaron Bailey spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on five hits. Bailey has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Talan Foster, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Sergio Banuelos, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles, one stolen base, and one run.

McAlester's loss dropped their record down to 15-13. As for Pryor, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-10 record this season.
