Wayne triumphant thanks to a strong effort from Ryker Peterson

Recap: Wayne Badgers vs. Valley Buffalos
The Wayne Badgers entered their tilt with the Valley Buffalos with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Wayne took down Valley 54-37 on Thursday. That's another feather in the cap for Wayne, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
It was another big night for Ryker Peterson, who scored 23 points along with five rebounds and two steals. He hasn't dropped below 18 points for four straight games. Jake Batty was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds.
Wayne has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. As for Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season.
Wayne does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Valley also has no future games currently scheduled.
