Baseball Recap: Stayton Comes Up Short

Stayton might've scored the first runs on Tuesday, but it was Estacada who claimed the real prize. The Eagles fell just short of the Rangers by a score of 11-10. The Eagles were not able to make up for their loss to the Rangers from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Stayton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Estacada, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2-1.

Coming up, Stayton will look to defend their home field on Thursday against St. Helens at 4:30 p.m. As for Estacada, they will head out on the road to take on Astoria at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
