Poway hadn't done well against Del Norte recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Titans had just enough and edged out the Nighthawks 3-2. This was a revenge game for the Titans: when they faced off against the Nighthawks back in March, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

Poway wouldn't go down easily and took Del Norte into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 23-25, 23-25, 25-17, 16-14.

Del Norte's loss came despite strong showings from Brandon So and John Lee. So had 16 digs and four assists, while Lee had 27 assists and eight digs. So is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had 13 or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Poway is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-16 record this season. As for Del Norte, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 19-18.

As of now, neither Poway nor the Nighthawks have any future games scheduled.
