Basketball Game Preview: Skyline Thunderbirds vs. South Central Timberwolves

The Skyline Thunderbirds will head out to square off against the South Central Timberwolves on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Skyline is headed out in good spirits considering the team just ended their winless streak on the road against Kinsley on Tuesday. Skyline enjoyed a cozy 61-47 win over Kinsley. The victory was some much needed relief for the Thunderbirds as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for South Central against Attica on Tuesday as the squad secured a 59-26 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Timberwolves.

South Central's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Skyline, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Skyline came up short against South Central in their previous matchup back in February, falling 52-39. Can Skyline avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
