Baseball Game Preview: Farragut Admirals vs. Pigeon Forge Tigers

The Farragut Admirals will take on the Pigeon Forge Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Pigeon Forge took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Farragut, who comes in off a win.

Pigeon Forge will be up against a hot Farragut squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. The Admirals came out on top against William Blount by a score of 9-4 on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 11 runs the game before, Pigeon Forge was a bit more limited in their game on Wednesday. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Eagleton College & Career Academy.

Pigeon Forge dropped their record down to 13-8-2 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Farragut, their victory bumped their record up to 20-6.

Everything went Farragut's way against Pigeon Forge in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Farragut made off with a 10-0 win. Will the Admirals repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
