Minarets strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with a 36-27 win over the Caruthers Blue Raiders. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Mustangs also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Minarets' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Torin Wolf, who threw for 283 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 72.7% of his passes, and also rushed for 38 yards. James Suehiro was another key rusher, rushing for 97 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries.

Caruthers lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jacob Perez, who threw for 242 yards and three TDs while completing 81% of his passes. Caruthers' leading receiver Giovanni Carrillo was Perez's top target yet again, picking up 93 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Minarets' record is now 6-0. As for Caruthers, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Minarets has already played their next contest, a 35-10 defeat against Liberty on the 10th. As for Caruthers, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 28-8 loss against Mission College Prep on the 10th.
