Soccer Recap: Scott County Takes a Loss

Scott County managed to keep up with Paul Laurence Dunbar until halftime on Wednesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Cardinals came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, Scott County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky soccer rankings (they are ranked 106th, while Paul Laurence Dunbar are ranked sixth).

Scott County's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-10-2. As for Paul Laurence Dunbar, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-2-1.

Coming up, Scott County will head out to take on Walton-Verona at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Paul Laurence Dunbar, they will welcome Henry Clay at 7:45 p.m. on Monday.
