It was a good run, but Port Allen unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 77-69 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Live Oak Eagles.

Port Allen's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Live Oak, they pushed their record up to 5-3 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Port Allen will be home for the holidays to greet Tara at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Live Oak, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on West Feliciana at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
