Softball Recap: Waukesha North Takes a Loss

Waukesha North fell victim to Burlington and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Demons by a score of 1-0. The Northstars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Waukesha North's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Burlington, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Waukesha North will head out to take on Waukesha West at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Northstars' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wolverines have averaged an impressive 7.9 runs per game this season. As for Burlington, they will head out on the road to challenge Waterford at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
